Master Class Pudding Steamer
I took a chance and bought one. When it arrived I thought it was faulty as the lid doesn't have an airtight seal. I rang customer service who were very helpful and checked it out. They assured me that "that was the way it was meant to be". So I made a pudding - and it was brilliant! The lid goes on and comes off easily; the pudding cooked perfectly. I didn't use any grease proof paper or anything and just trusted the claim of the non stick surface. The pudding came out of the steamer after 5 minutes cooling time perfectly. The steamer looked as if it had just been washed. Makes xmas pudding making Sooooo much easier - thank you.

Excellent product. I too had the old aluminium basin which lasted for many years but eventually died. It's replacement is easy to use and cooks an outstanding self saucing butterscotch pudding!

steel steamed pudding basin
lovely item. I also am used to alluminium and have gone UP. Water does not get into the basin. And it is easy to lift in and out of boinling water. But have forgotten how to remove the lid. I remember twisting it to line up some dots but it seems less willing lately and I realise I am not doing the rignt thing.

Pudding Steamer
Quality Item just as pictured with fast shipping. There is a small chip in the top edge which is a bit disappointing, it was shipped with a heavier item, although had air bags it may have caused this, otherwise very happy.
